Privacy Policy

Who controls your data
Pivot Bio, Inc., trading as Colonize Bio, 1200 Washington Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415, United States (a Delaware corporation) is the data controller. Our data protection contact is agronomy@colonize.bio.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit through the contact form or when creating an account: name, work email, organisation and country.
- Field information you choose to share, such as crop, soil test results and area.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages viewed, collected only where analytics cookies are accepted.
- Correspondence with our agronomy team.
Why we process it
To respond to enquiries, to prepare field assessments and quotations, to fulfil orders and issue batch certificates, and to meet record-keeping obligations under U.S. federal and state law. Analytics processing happens only with consent and can be withdrawn at any time through the cookie preferences link in the footer.
Legal basis
Contract performance for orders and programmes, legitimate interest for responding to business enquiries, consent for analytics and marketing cookies, and legal obligation for financial and product-registration records.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for 24 months from the last contact. Order, batch and certificate records are kept for seven years as required by U.S. tax and product traceability rules. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for 14 months.
Who we share it with
Processors acting on our instructions: our email provider, our hosting provider and our analytics provider, all within the EEA. We do not sell personal data and we do not share field data with third parties for their own purposes.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to agronomy@colonize.bio; we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and access to customer records is logged. Personal data is not stored in this website beyond the cookie preference you set in your own browser.
