Winter wheat on light land, Renville County, Minnesota
840 acres, sandy loam, organic matter 1.9%. RhizoSet on all seed, TerraCore on the two lowest-P blocks. Treated strips averaged +6.2% over three seasons; the block with the highest P index showed no difference and TerraCore was dropped there.
Corn under irrigation, Kearney County, Nebraska
470 acres with a reliable July heat window. StomaGuard timed off the NOAA forecast, two applications. Canopy temperature ran 2.5 °F lower on treated strips during the event; grain moisture at harvest was unchanged.
Canola, Grand Forks County, North Dakota
640 acres with heavy stubble and a tight rotation. ResiduePrime after wheat, RhizoSet at planting. Spring residue scores improved by two points on the assessment scale and establishment was more even; yield difference was inside noise.
Where we said no
A 220-acre block in Story County, Iowa with a compaction pan at 9 inches and pH 5.0. The assessment recommended subsoiling and lime instead of a programme. The grower returned two seasons later and the establishment response was then clearly positive.
